My emotions are fleeting, they do not define me. My choices do, and I do my best to make good ones.

I move my body every day. I stretch, challenge, and honour her.

Book Review: I Am That Girl

I rest when I need to. I hold nothing back. Cry when I need to, But also recognize when I need to buck up. I remember to breathe and in that space, I find my clam among the chaos. I owe it to myself to be remarkable, so I am. We are strong, we are awesome. And we need to be confident.

Which is super hard for me sometimes! Insecurities, blah! And while I love the manifesto, and while I want and am trying to incorporate it into my daily life, I also wrote some major thoughts down as I read the book myself.

These key points are ones that really stuck out to me; some things I do well, some things I really need to work on. Regardless, they are all important. Women need to build each other up, not cut each other down. Love one another for our differences; what makes us unique. I always used to try and fit in.

I have to embrace my weirdness And be proud of who I am. Dream big. ACT on dreams! Let little things inspire me. Take note of these little things.

Speak up. I need to keep learning to gain the confidence to stand behind my words, Otherwise they are just words. Step outside the safety net. But taking risks and stepping outside my comfort zone will only make me better. Be proud of my accomplishments, No matter the size.

I will focus on health in hopes of a long life, Not pure vanity. I am so blessed every day.

No matter what, I need to pray and remember what I am thankful for. But she also had everyday obligations: cooking for her father and stepmother, walking the dogs, going on medication runs, and picking up nieces and nephews.
