Another downside is that there is little information presented that has not been widely covered in the lay press.

This is the most down-to-earth, cover-all, explain-all book I have ever read, and what shocks me most it that it is talking about food! Most of the information in this book I've seen before at a doctors office or in a health class, but I did like the simplicity of how everything was explained.
